Three approaches, one informed choice

There is no single right answer in mobile development. The choice between native, cross-platform, and PWA depends on business objectives, technical constraints, and user profiles. We help you choose based on data.

Native iOS & Android

Swift for iOS, Kotlin for Android. Maximum performance, full access to system APIs, UX perfectly aligned with each platform's design guidelines. The right choice when the app is the company's core product, requires advanced hardware sensors (AR, NFC, biometrics), or must guarantee absolute fluidity on entry-level devices.

Most popular

Cross-platform development

A single codebase for iOS and Android with near-native performance. The natural choice for most enterprise projects.

01
Web-first

First choice when an existing web or JavaScript ecosystem needs to be integrated with the backend.

02
Dedicated UI engine

For rich, custom interfaces with perfect visual consistency across both platforms.

03
Reduced time-to-market

One codebase, two stores. Parallel development without duplicating effort and testing.

Progressive Web App (PWA)

When store distribution is not required, a PWA delivers offline capabilities, push notifications, and device installation built on an existing web foundation. Ideal for internal business tools, frequently accessed B2B portals, and contexts where budget is the primary constraint. No App Store review, instant updates.

The mobile development process

Every app we deliver is built on a structured process that reduces the risk of costly revisions and ensures a stable product from the very first release.

1

UX Research & Wireframing

Stakeholder workshops to define priority user stories. Output: interactive wireframes validated before a single line of code is written.

2

UI Design & navigable prototype

Complete mobile design system with interactive states and offline behaviours. Prototype approved by the client before a single line of code is written.

3

Development & backend integration

Bi-weekly sprints with integration into existing business systems. Offline-first logic, secure authentication, and data encryption by design.

4

Testing on real devices

Verification on physical hardware — not simulators. Performance, battery drain, and offline behaviour tested on both entry-level and flagship devices.

5

Deployment & monitoring

Store submission managed with crash reporting and analytics active from day one. Post-launch support included during the first operational weeks.

Quality standards on every project

Non-negotiable, regardless of budget or technology.

01
GDPR by design

Encryption, consent management, and data retention configured in the architecture — not bolted on at the end of the project.

02
Testing on physical devices

iPhone SE through Pro Max, and mid-range to high-end Android — every build verified on real hardware before release.

03
Submission with guarantee

We manage the full store submission process. If the app is rejected for technical reasons, the fix is on us.

The source code belongs to the clientfrom day one.. No components with restrictive licences without explicit approval.

How AI powers mobile apps

Intelligent apps: AI features that create real value

Intelligent search: semantic natural language queries across business content
Voice commands: voice-first for field operators — works offline
Predictive UX: pre-loads the most likely data, reducing perceived wait times

Unifarm: from legacy app to B2B platform for national pharmaceutical distribution

The Challenge: The existing app displayed data that conflicted with the web portal, causing daily operational confusion among operators across the pharmaceutical distribution network. The internal team could not keep the two platforms in sync.

The Solution: We redesigned the entire experience — 15+ native operational modules on the same APIs as the web portal, contextual push notifications, real-time delivery tracking, and a single codebase distributed on both the App Store and Google Play.

Every app we deliver
meets these standards

It's not enough that it works: every app must be secure, maintainable, and approved by the stores without revisions on the first submission.

Contractual guarantee

Store submission managed and guaranteed

We manage the full process on the App Store and Google Play. If the app is rejected for technical reasons, the fix is on us — no additional cost. Included in every project.

GDPR by design

GDPR compliance is not checked at the end of the project — it is an integral part of the architecture from the outset. Encryption, consent management, and data retention configured correctly from the first sprint.

Testing on real devices

Mandatory verification on a fleet of physical devices — iPhone SE through Pro Max, and mid-range to high-end Android. Tested under offline conditions, degraded connectivity, and battery drain — not just simulators.

Complete technical documentation

Architecture, APIs, build process, and deployment procedures documented and delivered at go-live. Your team (or a future vendor) can take ownership of the project without depending on us.

IP ownership to the client

The app's source code belongs to the client from day one. No components with restrictive licences without explicit approval — complete freedom to evolve the product in future.

Crash monitoring included

Crash reporting and behavioural analytics configured and active from the first day in production. Issues are detected and reported before users raise them.

An enterprise app is not a consumer app.
The development process cannot be either.

Low-cost / Freelance development
  • No structured process: requirements shift without control
  • Simulators only: bugs surface on real users
  • GDPR and security handled superficially or ignored
  • No documentation: impossible to maintain after delivery
  • App rejected: multiple revisions and delays
  • Full dependency on a single developer: risk of abandonment
TC Consulting · Mobile App
  • Structured process with UX research, sprints, and validation milestones
  • Mandatory testing on physical devices before every release
  • GDPR and security integrated into the architecture from the start
  • Complete documentation delivered alongside the app
  • Managed submission with guarantee — if rejected, the fix is ours
  • Structured team: no single-point-of-failure dependency

From MVP to enterprise app:
the model adapts to your stage

An enterprise app can start as an MVP and grow over time. We structure the engagement based on your priorities.

Fixed-scope MVP

A reduced set of core features delivered quickly. Ideal for validating the product hypothesis with real users before investing in the full product. Certain budget, predictable delivery.

Recommended

Evolutionary product

Dedicated team on a T&M contract to develop and evolve the app over time. Ideal for operational enterprise apps that grow with the business. Bi-weekly sprints with ongoing demos and feedback.

Staff Augmentation

Our mobile engineers integrate into your existing team. Ideal for organisations that have an internal team but need specific expertise in native or cross-platform development for iOS and Android.

What you ask us before signing

Native or cross-platform: how do you choose the right approach?

We don't have a one-size-fits-all answer; it depends entirely on your specific requirements. Native development is the way to go when the app requires deep hardware access (AR, NFC, real-time processing) or when absolute performance is critical on entry-level devices. Cross-platform is the natural choice when there is already an existing web ecosystem to integrate, or when the goal is to maximize visual consistency across both platforms while reducing time-to-market. During the analysis phase, we present you with the options, along with their pros, cons, and impact on budget and timeline.

How long does it take to develop an enterprise mobile app?

An MVP with core features typically takes 2–3 months. A full enterprise app with backend integration, offline capabilities, and advanced user management takes 4–6 months. The UX research and wireframing phase (3–4 weeks) is crucial: it significantly reduces costly revisions in the later stages. The final estimate depends on the functional scope, which we define together after a free technical kickoff.

How do you handle OS updates (iOS/Android) that might break the app?

OS updates are a constant reality in mobile development. For apps under active maintenance, we monitor iOS and Android betas and verify compatibility before the official public release. For production apps without a maintenance contract, we notify the client in advance of known breaking changes so we can plan a targeted update. The technical documentation delivered with each project includes the critical dependencies to monitor.

How do you handle sensitive data (healthcare, financial, personal) in mobile apps?

Handling sensitive data requires a specific architectural approach defined during the initial discovery phase. Standard security measures include: end-to-end encryption of sensitive data both at rest and in transit, biometric authentication and secure session management, data minimization (storing no more than what is strictly necessary on the device), an offline-first architecture that prevents data exposure in case of interception, for healthcare or regulated data, we strictly verify compliance with GDPR guidelines and applicable industry-specific regulations.

Do you also manage store deployment and subsequent updates?

Yes. Managing the initial submission to the App Store and Google Play is fully included in the project. For subsequent updates, we can either manage the process directly (which requires access to your developer accounts) or train your team to handle releases independently. Every update goes through the exact same rigorous testing process before submission — we never push updates to production without full validation.

What happens if the app needs to integrate with an enterprise system with limited APIs?

This is actually the most common scenario. During the technical mapping phase, we analyze the available infrastructure and look for alternatives: existing REST APIs, proprietary SDKs, direct database connections, or structured file exchanges.
If the existing APIs are insufficient, we can design a lightweight middleware that securely exposes the required functionalities to the app — without modifying your legacy backend systems. This architecture also has the distinct advantage of isolating the mobile app from any future changes made to your underlying IT systems.
