How do you structure the contract — fixed price or time & material?
It depends on the project. For new systems with well-defined requirements we prefer fixed price: the budget is certain and the risk of overrun stays with us. For evolving platforms with requirements that change over time, T&M with weekly sprints offers more real-world flexibility. During the analysis phase we present both options with the pros and cons for your specific context.
How long does a software development project typically take?
A specific application module typically takes 2–4 months. A full management platform 6–12 months. A precise estimate requires requirements analysis: before any formal quote we always run a free technical kickoff to understand the real complexity. Projects are structured around intermediate milestones with verifiable deliverables, so you have full visibility into progress at every stage.
Who owns the source code and documentation?
The client, from day one. This is a standard contractual clause, not a negotiable concession. The source code, technical documentation, deployment scripts and any other artefact produced during the project belong to the client. We do not use proprietary frameworks or components with restrictive licences without explicit approval.
How do you handle requirement changes during a project?
Requirement changes are a natural part of any software project. We manage them through a structured process: a formal change request with an impact assessment on timeline and costs, followed by approval before proceeding. For T&M contracts, flexibility is built into the model. For fixed-price contracts, we define during the analysis phase a buffer for minor changes and a clear procedure for significant ones.
Do you also handle maintenance after go-live?
Yes. The first 3 months post-release are included in the standard contract. Beyond that, we offer ongoing maintenance contracts with defined SLAs — bug fixes, technology updates, minor functional enhancements and monitoring. It is also possible to move to a full Application Management contract for those who want to outsource the entire management of the system.
Can we hand the project over to an internal team in the future?
Absolutely, and we make it easy. Complete technical documentation, clean and commented code, and knowledge transfer sessions with your team are all part of our standard project closure process. Our policy is that you should never feel locked in to continuing with us; if you do, it's because the value is real.
